Here is Flexo’s view on the action from round three of the CRC iDMS. In case you are yet to see it.
Following some confusion with the scoring from the last round of the iDMS in Fairymount a totally new, from scratch, spreadsheet has been compiled from the individual category results for each round.
I implore you to, if you have raced even one race this year, to look up your name and make sure it is accurate. If each person does this once, the entire file will be checked over.
There are a number of things you should be looking for.
- That your name, NUMBER & category are accurate.
- The points are allocated where you got them. (ie: if you raced rd. 2 and it is blank)
- The accuracy of the points.
The accuracy should not require attention as I have looked through it thoroughly. With five files to reference and eleven categories in each, it is difficult to keep track AND have it done by lunchtime!
If you spot a problem with your entry, you NEED to contact me, directly!
THIS PART IS SERIOUS – IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE NUMBER CURRENTLY YOU NEED TO RESOLVE THAT ISSUE BY USING THE ONE BESIDE YOUR NAME ON THE SPREADSHEET.
Failure to do so will lead to a repeat of this painful mistake after the final round and inevitably a delay in announcing the overall winner.
I WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO HOLD ONTO THE OTHER ONE AND RETURN IT TO A RACE COORDINATOR AT THE NEXT ROUND. PLEASE DO NOT THROW IT AWAY. THERE IS EVERY POSSIBILITY THAT WE WILL NEED IT.
Check the standings HERE in the results page.
I know that the position does not allow for draws in points when collating the positions. It is just incremental currently.
Thank you for your patience and please do not hesitate to make contact with any other issues.
