Entry Procedure:

The series is pre entry, via the event organisers chosen online registration system. Please endevour to purchase a valid Cycling Ireland race license before completing your registration. Day licenses will be made available but a CI membership is preferred. Race entry is set by the CI Offroad Commission at €35 for Juvenile, Youth & Junior categories and €50 for all remaining categories. Per event day licenses are available at a cost of €20. Fees are subject to online transfer costs and may vary slightly.

There will be no variation in these fees, they are fixed and will remain the same for the lead up to all rounds. If you don’t enter on time, your punishment is not being entered! Online Entry will be open for a chosen amount of time in the lead up to the race and will stop 10 days prior to the event allowing for funds and fees be accessed by the organising clubs. During this time manual entry is permitted by contacting one of the race coordinators. This late entry will be subject to a €10 administration charge and your entry will be entirely at the discretion of the race-coordinator.

Race Schedule:

Saturday

08:30 – 13:00 Race registration.
09:30 Open practice for all riders.
16:00 Course Closed.
16:05 Riders’ meeting. (at organisers discretion)

Sunday

08:30 – 13:00 Race registration.
09:00 Open practice for all.
11:00 Timed seeding run followed by one timed race run.
17:30 Last Elite racer down.
17:45 Podium.

Race Categories and running order for both seeding and race runs:

The category you enter should be chosen based on the current year minus the year you were born. For example – if you were born in 1998 you would subtract 1998 from the current year (2014) leaving you with 16 and making you eligible for the Youth category.

Juvenile (13 -14 years old)
Youth (15-16 years old)
Super Veteran (50+ years young)
Veteran (40+ years old)
Women (19+ years old)
Sports (19+ years old; New or Returning to racing)
Senior (19+ years old)
Master (30+ years old)
Junior (17 – 18 years old)
Elite (19+ years old)

Race Regulations:

Events will run under Cycling Ireland and UCI Regulations and Penalties.

Race timing will be Tag Heuer, Live timing will be provided and provisional results from each category will be printed and displayed after each category finishing.

Full medical cover will be provided by means of two ambulances and a roaming advanced paramedic with HSE road Ambulance & air support if needed.

Camping/Parking will be available onsite or in a separate camping area where possible. This will be at the discretion of the organising club.

There will be onsite catering providing fresh hot and cold food and refreshments.
